What is contract brewing?

Contract brewing is a form of cooperation between a brewery (such as The Brew Society) and a third party, where the brewery is hired to produce beer according to the client's specifications. This approach enables companies and startups to market their beer without investing in their own brewing equipment.

The customer sets out his specifications and quality standards in an agreement, after which the contract brewery carries out the brewing process. This includes purchasing raw materials, brewing, bottling and packaging, under strict quality control.

What are the benefits of contract brewing? You can focus on branding, marketing and distribution without the costs and challenges of having your own brewery. The customer often retains the intellectual property of the recipe and brand, while the brewery is responsible for the production process.

Contract brewing has opened the door for a diversity of creative beers in the craft beer market. With our experience within The Brew Society and our modern facilities, we offer brands and startups a path to high-quality beers that satisfy the tastes of consumers worldwide without a sky-high investment cost.
